On a scale of 1 to 10 the motel I stayed in last night was a 2.5. I thought I had called the Baymont Inn, which had the pool and spa and I asked when I called if it was open and she said yes.
After being lost and finally getting there, I was not about to try and tackle the rain and the lodging book again. So, it was the Bavarian Inn, looked a little like those Alpine Village type things and they had a room. Things happen for reasons - right.
This could be the sign that says, it is time to go home girl. Or, it could be the sign that says, check things out a bit and don't just plunge right in. I'm looking for more today.
So as I am getting ready to get back on the road I made sure I had my treasures I have been carrying around in my pocket; petrified wood (symbolizes that I am becoming something that is long lasting), my piece of granite, (which reminds me that dreams can come true), my green stone, (that reminds me to focus on harmony and inner peace) and then my 3 new pennies (that symbolize my 3 special g-kids and reminds of what is important in life). And it's no wonder my clothes are getting tighter. I had better not put anything more in my pocket.
And then what keeps running through my head as I am packing up is that ear worm playing of the Black Eyed Peas "It's Gonna Be a Good Night" except I keep switching it to "It's Gonna Be a Good Day". I am thinking I should probably even switch it more.....
