Okay, I am having a slow morning....since I perused through the book I am leaving, "Mind, Body, Soul and Money, Putting Your Life in Balance" just to make sure I have not missed anything. Once I realized that I pretty much have it in "harmony' for me, I decided to grab some coffee and cereal before I hit the road.
Obviously the working folk were all ready out of the motel.....since it was 3 older couples and me in the dining area. I felt like I was back in Indiana with one of the couples; white bearded man and woman with a tightly wound bun, floral dress with a fleece over it and my Oma Anna type shoes. (the black laced pumps). The other couple was the sweatshirt with the grandkids names on it type and then there was the dutiful daughter asking her dad if he knew they were on their way home. Needless to say, my jeans, cowboy boots and pearls blended quite well. It was just my hair color that was off. I know Mom thinks I should go lighter, but how light.....hmmm...
You know RJ there was a period in my life when I consumed massive quantities of beer. I couldn’t pass a brewery and could sniff a pub out like a blood hound. its such a great liquid. One hot summer day I even poured a really cold one over my body. It was a fantastic feeling. I loved those days. Keep it up. Edi
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that maybe you could give us an idea of where you are heading in the next few days at the end of your day. That way some of us who have been where you are going can point you to some cool things to see. Then again you aren't chasing birds with dogs so my experiences in the west might be of no use to you.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to be a platinum blond with hair short and spikey. Talk about butch!
ReplyDeleteI vote for blonde! We sure are missing you. I love reading about your awesome journey!
ReplyDeleteLove ya...jennifer
How about PURE RED like Addison on Private Practice....to match your car? I also agree with JT's comment...how can we make suggestions and vicariously enjoy your trip if you do not give us some hints about future stops on the journey... Please don't interpret that to mean we want you to have a plan, please don't, an un-plan would be best. xoxo Kim, just home from Florida.
ReplyDeleteI heard on the John Tesch show that the newest trend for teenagers is GRAY hair. Can you believe that? Maybe that's the ticket to feeling younger ? Keep those cowboy boots rockin on :)
