Sometimes you have to make a mess to create order. I know there is some profound meaning in there somewhere.
I was running out of clean clothes in the one suitcase and knew I had to make a switch. So I decided I needed to stay in a motel type place where I could back my car up to the door, unload and repack clothes. (All I wanted to do was avoid having to drag 4 bags up the steps or through the hotel and onto an elevator) But like most things I do, once I get started, I find it hard to put up the boundaries.
I ended up taking everything out of the car, dumping it all over the room and began trying to put some order and organization into things once again. (It took me 6 days to get here, so my OCD is getting better)
The ordeal was helped by the new beer I discovered called Easy Street. Not sure if I can get it once back in Chicago, but it is now my new favorite. Made by O'Dells which is in Fort Collins too.
Today I am off to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. I have been told the road through the park is still closed. (It is considered winter here until after Memorial Day) There are still trails and roads open so I should get to see lots of beautiful scenery and natural wonders.
